Sticky and sweltering, the heat from the day still present. Sleep proving elusive, even after a day of drama. Power cuts and a house alarm that could not be contained. Even the cat has given up and gone out into the night. Looking forward to a soothing, early morning walk in the garden, whilst the dew still lingers on the leaves.
